” My first celebrity interview was Natalie Cole! She had known me or of me since I was 11. When we sat down to talk, I was 29 and she knew me. She thought that BET had let me come to be in the room and when she realized I was doing the interview, she almost fainted. She knew I was her biggest fan and that I was a Coleologist (a Natalie Cole fan with a Ph.C. in her career).”
