“With Public Access, we get a chance to actually cultivate an audience, which then can be used as a great marketing tool for a network. ”

“I am not opposed to traditional television networks and I feel that it’s fast approaching sooner than I think. Until then, Public Access is great because there is more freedom and no restraints. When you deal with “network” usually you are dealing with people who have no idea what it takes to put together a show. They will give you a list of demands such as “you can’t have this type of actress/actor storyline on the show” or “you need to do this like this” and sometimes it’s a great accomplishment personally, but can also be a nightmare professionally. I think with Public Access, we get a chance to actually cultivate an audience, which then can be used as a great marketing tool for a network. That way, they can see you have a built in following and it’s easier to negotiate some things that normally you may not get a chance to.”
